Belgium

In Belgium the organization is called the Federatie Open Scoutisme = FOS

These strips of silk are their version of our council ID strips.  The country is divided into two parts: 1 Flemish, 1 Walloni (French)  Divisions within the FOS program are: girls only, boys only, mixed group, religious affiliations, etc.  It is likened toslicing a cake into many pieces, so that everybody can have the program they want.  The girls only program is recognized by the World Association.
